Sizing Your Special Edition Mammoth

Getting the sizing right on a clothing purchase is typically the most difficult part of the entire experience. This is our attempt to make things a bit easier. Please don't hesitate to email us if needed.

Base tips:

  • Measure your favorite fitting jacket and compare the measurements on the product page to them.
  • If you're between sizes, go with the larger of the two (especially with winter gear).
  • This Special Edition Mammoth is not built to stretch over time. Stick true to your measurements.
  • Size up 1 from your standard Mammoth.

Arm Length:

Take your measuring tape and run it down the top of the arm, starting at the shoulder seam and ending at the cuff.

Pit to Pit:

Take your measuring tape and measure the distance from armpit to armpit. Your jacket should be laying flat and be fastened closed. Don't stretch the jacket out or pull on it at all, just assure that there are no large wrinkles shortening the width.

Back Length:

Take your measuring tape and place the tip where the neck seam is attached to the back body panel of the jacket. Run the tape down to the end of the jacket.

Shoulder Width:

Take your measuring tape and run it from shoulder seam to shoulder seam (the highest part of the seam you can measure from!).
